This seems like the most plausible solutionĢ- Physically do something to the stick itself so that it won't do this crap to me anymore. 1.1- With that said, I can take then both to a repair store and let then do this process to me. But this good stick is in another fightstick (that is broken) and I've NO IDEA how to safely remove it and how to safely put in the other fightstick. I have some questions about the configuration of the joystick. Force feedback is not particularly useful, but you do want to get one with a throttle and a few buttons on the top of the stick itself. In tekken, for example, where you need to do moves while standing, that requires a neutral input from crouch position, the character ends up doing a jumping attack.ġ- Switch this stick for a better one that I have here. I have a just installed and configured my first arcade using the Atari Fight Stick and Retropie installed on a linux box. The best way to do this is to hold the microswitch. If I quick press down, instead of stopping on neutral, a game will recognize that I pressed the up input. The metal arms on the microswitches can be adjusted toward the center for more sensitivity, or away for less.

For example, if you quick press any of the directions of the stick, it won't just go back to neutral. Its 7.5lb frame is sturdy enough to endure reasonable bangs and bumps while in transport, and all but the glass that covers the main panel. It has a huge problem on the stick itself. The Fighting Stick Alpha’s chassis is just as durable. I've bought an obviously used fightstick (I literally had no options, no need to ask why).
